I am sure you have asked this question before. If not, you may probably want an answer to this question.
It's important to understand that no man can tell you the actual purpose of your life. It sounds confusing, right? Unfortunately, that is the truth. You were not created by man.
To know your true purpose in life, ascertain who made you. It's only the maker who can determine the actual capacity and function of the object he has made. Your source determines your nature and your purpose. Without your Maker, your existence is meaningless.
You cannot understand life without making reference to its source. The source further determines your nature, which includes your potential (gifts, abilities, and talents).
The proper use of potential gives purpose. Purpose can only be fulfilled by your potential. You simply cannot undertake a course you do not have the ability to. Know your true source, understand your nature, and fulfill your Creator's purpose.
