Using or Being Used by Him?

Individual aspirations hold great significance and provide a sense of purpose in life. In fact, it is highly encouraged for everyone to set their sights on something they wish to pursue. The saying holds true: if one does nothing, they become nothing. Engaging in idleness is considered a vice because it fails to contribute to anyone's usefulness.

Consequently, everyone is occupied, diligently working towards their respective goals. However, not all goals are worth pursuing. Before committing to any endeavor, it is crucial to consider its alignment with your divine purpose on this earth. This inquiry can make a tremendous difference.

Presently, people desire unwavering support from everything and everyone for their chosen goals. They also expect God to endorse their pursuits without pausing to seek His guidance on whether it aligns with His intentions or pleases Him. Surprisingly, many of us are guilty of this. We solely rely on God to assist us in achieving our dreams. Additionally, people are unwilling to accept challenges that contradict their intentions, even if it may be exactly what God intends for them. Well, they may not even realize if it is God's will.

None of us brought ourselves into this world. You may argue against it, but deep down, you cannot deny this statement. There is a God who has sent us here for His own ordained mission. It is natural to have personal aspirations, but out of respect for God, it is important to inquire if pursuing those goals also contributes to His true mission for us on earth.

Instead of imposing your goals on God and expecting His support, it is advisable to evaluate your goals with Him to determine if they align with His fundamental mission for you. If they do, you can now collaborate with Him to achieve them.

Do not waste your life engaging in activities that you are not meant to do. Make the most of every opportunity for doing good in these evil days. (Ephesians 5:16)
You may be doing well in your current pursuits, and that is commendable. However, the ultimate success of your life depends on fulfilling the will of God, who created and brought you here. Understand His will and rely on Him to fulfill it. Don't act thoughtlessly, but try to understand what the Lord wants you to do. (Ephesians 5:17)

Don’t cheat yourself!
